Minimising Cybersecurity Threats for our clients

We are committed to ensuring cybersecurity is an intrinsic part of all our projects. We develop our software using secure practices and procedures, factoring it in right from the start as a key component of our work. Our cybersecurity professionals work alongside the developers from the foundation stage of any software build. They manage code reviews and assess security controls as an ongoing part of the development process.

Our expertise in this area

We take cybersecurity very seriously which is why we work off a Zero Trust security model which assumes that every access request is not to be trusted, only verified. It helps to ensure that before every entry is granted it is fully authenticated, authorised, and encrypted. It takes into account access location, access device and assumes least privilege access principles.

According to IBM’s Cost of a Data Breach Report 2021 the average cost of a breach was $1.76 million less than organisations who did not deploy zero trust.

We maintain secure audit trails as they are incredibly important to help track breaches – should they occur – in order to reconstruct original data, be compliant as well as understanding what / who was responsible.

We are working towards ISO27001 certification and we are HM Government G-Cloud supplier. We are Cyber Essentials compliant.

Cybersecurity; present and future

The Covid-19 pandemic has transformed the way we work; we now spend less time in the office, more time working from home and on our own devices. This has made direct security and user monitoring much harder for organisations. It is unlikely to go back to what it was so businesses need to make sure that their cybersecurity infrastructure is aligned and future-proofed to the new way of working.
